Privacy Policy

PuffiLab builds small Apple-platform apps with a preference for local storage, clear permissions, and user-controlled data.

Overview

This policy applies to PuffiLab apps and websites, including FourierSleep, Mindful Momentum, Trailfold, and WashiNote. The apps are designed to collect only the information needed to provide their core features.

Information You Choose to Store

Depending on the app, you may create or import sleep records, snore analysis results, weight and mood logs, journal entries, hiking routes, GPX files, photos, notes, tasks, project content, recordings, attachments, exports, or backups.

This information is primarily stored on your device. When an app offers Apple platform features such as iCloud sync, Apple Health, Apple Watch support, or App Store services, those features are controlled by your Apple settings and Apple's privacy terms.

Health, Location, Audio, and Photos

Some apps may request access to sensitive Apple permissions such as Health, location, microphone, photos, or motion data. These permissions are used only for the feature you enable, such as health tracking, route recording, sleep analysis, voice capture, or adding media to a note.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, or watchOS Settings.

Analytics and Diagnostics

PuffiLab may receive limited diagnostics or usage information through Apple developer tools, App Store Connect, or device-level settings when you have enabled sharing with developers. This helps understand crashes, reliability, and general product quality.

Sharing and Sale of Data

PuffiLab does not sell your personal data. PuffiLab does not use your app content for advertising profiles. Data may be processed by Apple or platform services when you choose to use features such as App Store downloads, iCloud, Apple Health, Apple Watch, or in-app purchases.

Exports and Backups

Some apps support user-controlled exports, Markdown files, GPX files, videos, or backup archives. Once you export, share, or upload those files outside the app, the privacy of those files depends on where you store or send them.
